Tomorrow is the date set for the Rapture to occur.I believe I will wake up tomorrow and it will be a day like any other, but hopefully sunny and warm.I will go about my day, go to Toronto to visit friends and enjoy myself.
I will then wake up Sunday morning and it will be like any other Sunday morning, and I will go about my business.

Just in case the Rapture does come, I love you Mom and Dad.Thanks for life.I’ve used it to to the best of my abilities, and if for some reason some religion doesn’t believe I deserve to go to Heaven because of trivial mistakes like wearing linen (it’s so nice on a hot day), well, I’m okay with that.
I am currently in a Stanley Cup haze. My life revolves around playoff games. If there is a game on, I choose that over going out with friends.
Why? Because I am from Vancouver and I love the Canucks. They are in the third round of the playoffs, somewhere they have not been in 17 years. I remember the 1994 playoffs, and that is partly the reason I don't miss games.
We are making history right now. I use the word "we" liberally, as I am not a Canuck, nor can I even skate that well or play hockey. But I love the game, love my team and love that we've made it this far.
There's a lot of pressure on the team, and I read an article (or was it a video essay?) on how Vancouver fans won't be happy unless we make it all the way, simply because making it this far isn't good enough this time.
Well, I want to say I'm happy enough being in the third round, but that would be a lie. We are a franchise that DESERVES to win it this year; they have played stupendously, won the President's Trophy and have some of the sports' top players in the Sedin twins (not so much in the Playoffs yet, but their time is coming) and Ryan Kesler (especially in the Playoffs, the man is a machine).
This video essay by Stephen Blunt of the Globe and Mail discusses the Canucks as Canada's team for the Stanley Cup this year. It also plays on our inferiority complex when it comes to being recognized by the rest of Canada, which winning the Cup would definitely help with.
The CBC's coverage of the Playoffs is terrific, and their live streaming of the games is unparalleled. Which is great for someone like me who lives in Ontario and doesn't have a TV or a local sports bar that always has the Canucks on screen.
